Family Engagement

Art House launched their new website in the New Year 2018. The new website was definitely needed and the improvements made were not only exciting but extremely beneficial to the organization. Since the launch we have seen an increase in, email subscriptions, new contacts, registration for events and especially for classes.

Family Open Studio and Family Clay Day have been a part of the organization for a while with its ups and downs in attendance. Since 2018 we have had a steady stream of 20+ people sign up for the Family Open Studio and upwards to 45 people at the last Family Clay Day!

Family Open Studio is a free friendly arts and crafts class where we invite families to work together and spend a fun filled afternoon with their children. Classes have included:

• Mono Prints

• Drawing

• Prop Making

• Meditation Drawings

• Painting

• Collage

Family Clay Day is only $5 per individual participating in the class. The artist will instruct a project but everyone is welcome to free-form. With glazes that go right on the wet clay the sculpture only needs one firing which ends with you having a finished piece in 3-4 weeks. Projects have included:

• Fairy Houses,

• Coil Pots

• Animals

• Masks
