3D Art and Design with Chris Young Summer Art Camp Week 3 July 14-17 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) 1:00-2:30 PM at Art House, Inc. Join us for a four-day summer art camp that is sculptural, where students will explore the world of abstract sculpture through creative, hands-on projects. Inspired by biomorphic forms often seen in Surrealist and abstract art, campers will learn about the works of artists like Yves Tanguy, Henry Moore, and Kate Henderson. As they shape their own imaginative sculptures, students will develop their creative thinking, follow guided instruction, and collaborate in a fun, supportive group setting. Art House, Inc. summer camps take place inside and outside in the new Creative Garden space. The camps are open to all ages and families. 2nd graders and up are welcome to attend independently. Children younger than 2nd grade should be accompanied by an adult for assistance. Our new, fun summer art camps are ***FREE*** due to generous support from PNC Charitable Trusts Robert H. 00-2 FDN Equities. Please register each camper and accompanying adult online in advance so the teaching artists can plan activities and supplies accordingly. If you need to cancel, let us know one full week before camp begins for planning purposes. Before the first day of camp, a registration form will be emailed to enroll your campers fully. Bring this form to Art House on the first day at check-in, or you may fill it out on-site. Parent/guardian photo IDs may be needed for pickup.
